Met een kern van 0.75mm² een vele male betere signaaloverdracht dan de meeste andere merken die hooguit een kern van 22mm² hebben! Daarbij zijn ze toch erg flexibel en natuurlijk zeer roadproof.
Verkrijgbaar in 3 en 6 meter (andere lengtes kunnen we natuurlijk voor je maken) en met of zonder haakse pluggen.
Voorzien van vergulde Neutrik jack pluggen.
Helaas worden deze “anti neerstort riemknoppen” vaak op de gitaar gemonteerd als het (bijna) te laat is…
Een gedraaide band als je je gitaar omhangt kan ervoor zorgen dat je gitaarriem zich uit een gewone riemknop haakt en je gitaar valt.
Met deze Blackhorn straplocks kan dat niet meer gebeuren omdat de riem aan de gitaar vergrendeld is!
Wacht daarom niet dat het te laat is en monteer ze meteen op je gitaar of laat ze gratis door Muziekhuis Lyana monteren (klaar terwijl je wacht)

Laat je mooie rosewood fretboard niet uitdrogen en voorkom dat daardoor scheurtjes ontstaan.
Door het fretboard in te olien zorg je er tevens voor dat vuil wat van de vingers afkomt niet te heftig op het fretboard blijft vastzitten en beter te verwijderen is.
Een must voor een goed onderhouden gitaar en comfortabel speelplezier!
De Santa Cruz Parabolic Tension Strings zijn een verhaal apart!
Santa Cruz heeft het niet over de gangbare maten zoals 0.12 en 0.11 maar hebben de diktes per snaar aangepast door o.a. de kern van de snaar een andere dikte te geven. Op deze manier ontstaat er een gelijkmatige neerwaartse druk die alleen Santa Cruz weet te produceren. (zie foto 2)
Door bijvoorbeeld een lagere tension te gebruiken voelt een 0.12 snaar meer als een 0.11 set aan maar met een beduidend vollere toon een prettigere bespeelbaarheid.
Voeg daarbij een treatment toe waardoor de snaar niet snel zal roesten en je hebt dè ideale snaar voor je luxe gitaar!
Deze low tension is het meest geschikt voor de iets grotere en dreadnought gitaren en bij ons een grote favoriet!
When it comes to strings, it’s all about tension. While gauge is simply the measurement of the string’s diameter, the tension of a string determines its relative volume to the other strings (EQ). String tension is determined by its core to wrap ratio, which can vary greatly among manufacturers. This can create multi-pound differences between brands and an illogical EQ within any given set.
Santa Cruz Strings are engineered to do what others cannot, to put the exact tension on each individual string to create the appropriate download pressure. These calculated tensions determine the optimal relative volume between strings, or EQ, for your instrument. Santa Cruz Strings require precise core to wrap ratios and precision fit and finish for unprecedented tolerances of one half of one thousandths of an inch. This accurately determines the tension/volume of each string to the exact EQ that your guitar was designed for. State of the art metallurgy and micro-coating assures long life by preventing corrosive moisture from contacting the core of these nickel and lead-free strings.
This project has been a decade in the making; commercially available strings were never able to truly complement the complexity of overtones and sustain that SCGC achieves by individually tap tuning and hand voicing each guitar. SCGC, therefore, sought out the wisdom of their friends and colleagues within the audiological sciences to collaborate on a new design that will fully drive Santa Cruz Guitar Company’s complex acoustic tone.

SCGC finds that most players prefer the Low Tension Strings for smaller bodied guitars, OOO, OM, H and F Models, and the Mid Tension Strings for dreadnought models. If you prefer to use Mid Tension Strings on smaller bodied guitars, it is recommended that the guitar be set up to accommodate the added tension.
